English Days

Last Wednesday 31 August and Thursday 1 September, we celebrated our traditional English Days, where our students and teachers participated in various enjoyable and entertaining activities such as storytelling, poetry contests, spelling bee, bingo verb games and songs.

We were delighted by the presentations of our Senior students’ musicals – Tangled and Tinkerbell -, the English speaking countries’ door decorations and culture displays, the ‘typical’ food festival and the singing contests, all surrounded by our school’s distinctive cheerful and joyful spirit!

The English Department closed up the celebrations with the surprising appearance of a band of bagpipers, who captivated the whole school’s attention with their outstanding and moving performances that had everyone amazed and singing along.

We had so much fun! Here are some pictures to enjoy
